What you get for your fee:
My fee covers, of course, your session, but also includes a great deal more. First, I offer every client my business cell phone number so you have contact with me between sessions for reminders, direction, and support. These phone calls are covered in your session fee. Second, your fees cover the time I spend between sessions writing case notes, researching issues related to your needs, and otherwise preparing and consulting to give you the best treatment available. Also, studies have shown that paying for your treatment (as opposed to free treatment, or even having insurance cover your treatment) gives you a greater sense of responsibility for your treatment, more motivation to make it "worth your money," and in general provides better outcomes to therapy.

Therapy rate:
- $150 per hour (50 minutes)
- I have 4 slots for reduced fee clients in significant financial need. If interested, ask to see if a slot is available and if you might qualify.
Cash, check, credit, debit, Flex Pay, and HSA card payments accepted at time of service.
Bishop pay accepted.
Insurance:
I do not accept insurance for several reasons:
- Not filing with insurance ensures greater confidentiality.
- It allows me to keep my fees flexible for those with financial need (I have 4 slots available for reduced fee clients.)
- Paying for your therapy helps you take full responsibility for your progress and leads to better outcomes.
- Enables me to do what will help you most, not just what an insurance company will cover.
